Rooibos Pyramids

A refreshing caffeine-free alternative to black or green tea, our pyramid bags are filled with naturally sweet Rooibos (Red Bush) tea from South Africa.

Rooibos (otherwise known as Red Bush) is native to South Africa. After harvesting, the young leaves of the Aspalathus Linearis plant are bruised, cut and left to ferment, giving the tea its distinctive red colour before being finally dried. Claiming to be rich in vitamin C, iron and magnesium, Rooibos is also naturally caffeine-free, making it a fabulous refreshing alternative to black tea. A good choice for the evening if you want to cut back on caffeine or are sensitive to its effects and it is the one ‘herbal’ tea that has the advantage of tasting great with milk too, if preferred.

Tasting Notes: Makes a beautiful, russet-orange infusion with a slightly sweet, nutty flavour. Drink with or without milk.
